me & ruri's favorite tattoo artist, Kat von D from the reality show Miami Ink, now has a new show named LA Ink.

the premiere show will be tonight, 9 pm wib on discovery travel & living.


* her full name is Katherine Von Drachenberg

* her father is of German descent, but both of her parents' nationality are Argentinian. she was born in Mexico, and Spanish is her first language

* her specialty is black and gray style life-like portrait

* her favorite band is Motley Crue, but her favorite songs are Beethoven's.
she loves Motley Crue's song 'Starry Eyes'; that's why she has stars tattoo around her eyes.

* well-known people that got tattoed by Kat including the guys from the Jackass, Slayer, My Chemical Romance, Guns n'Roses, Green Day, The Mars Volta, Eve and Mira Sorvino.
